I feel sort of weirdly jealous over the fact that these shoes were made by Anya Hindmarch instead of me. They just FEEL like my design. You know when you feel like you participated in something that you had nothing to do with? Sort of similar to how you felt as a kid during the very circlular argument: "You did not go to our wedding, Mia, you weren't born yet--" "THEN HOW DO I REMEMBER EVERY DETAIL" "You had a dream, dear. You looked at some photos. Your father and I have been married for fifteen years, you are only seven. Do you see how thats problematic?" "YOU'RE PROBLEMATIC!" Thankfully I don't have to feel that kind of misguided indignance over the fur belt I'm wearing because I really did make that. It was a pretty easy DIY. I cut out a strip and a square of faux fur and glued them neatly to an already existing belt and buckle, wrapping the fur over the sides as I worked. Then I used an electric razor to shave down the fur on the inside of the belt so that it wouldn't create too much bulk. I then took it to Star Snaps for eyelet holes.
